What Is Included
The Archival edition includes the most expansive Veritas-led memoir process, from private in-person interviews through editorial development, image and document curation, participant coordination, companion book development, design, production coordination, printing, and final presentation. The finished work is composed of a primary memoir and an expanded companion book, Themes and Reflections.

The memoir carries the central life story in a substantial large-format hardcover volume, incorporating a generous range of photographs, letters, heirlooms, and archival materials throughout the narrative. The companion book offers dedicated space for ideas, patterns, relationships, reflections, and resonances that deepen the meaning of the work beyond the main life story.

Where appropriate, this edition may also include selected voices from family members, trusted participants, or others whose memories, perspectives, or materials add depth and context to the subject’s life.

Production and Presentation
Each set is produced in collaboration with master printers specializing in museum-quality, heirloom fabrication. Paper, binding, cover material, stamping, endpapers, ribbon details, and presentation elements are selected to support the scale, complexity, and permanence of the finished work.

The Archival edition is housed in a fabric-wrapped clamshell box, finished with foil stamping and debossing on the cover and spine. A wide grosgrain pull ribbon allows the volumes to be lifted cleanly from the case.

When This Edition Is Appropriate
The Archival edition is designed for a life story that reaches beyond a single narrative thread. It serves memoirs that call for greater documentary depth, additional perspectives, a larger visual record, or a more complex family, historical, or personal context. It is especially well suited to a commission intended to preserve not only the subject’s story, but the relationships, materials, memories, and interpretive layers that surround it.

Within the Veritas Editions
The Archival edition is the fullest expression of the Veritas memoir process. It builds on the two-volume architecture of The Reflective while expanding the editorial, visual, and documentary dimensions of the work. The Narrative offers a focused single-volume memoir. The Reflective adds a companion book devoted to themes, values, and life lessons. The Archival further extends the form, creating the most comprehensive Veritas offering for commissions that require added voices, richer source material, and the highest level of presentation.

Commissions for the Archival edition begin at $160,000. Final scope, production specifications, and presentation details are confirmed through the proposal process.
